We are simplifying the application by reducing it to a default theme and a vertical sidenav. At the same time, we are improving loading speed and stability on all devices. Thank you for your understanding!

Tonight, we will release three small patches to fix minor issues such as translations and the #Hashtag buttons on ad cards. Additionally, we will improve layout stability, especially during the initialization phase, particularly on mobile devices.

Throughout the day, several updates will be applied. Brief maintenance periods with downtimes of 10-15 seconds may occur.

The mobile patch has just been applied. Ads and profiles in dialog mode have been optimized, and the available space is now used more efficiently.

The story component has been updated, and the long-awaited status message has been successfully implemented. In the first phase, the status messages are only visible in stories, which can only be created with active premium listings. In the coming days, however, the status messages will also be visible on your personal profile page, regardless of whether you have an active listing or not. On the homepage, the status messages will remain visible only through premium listing stories. The status messages themselves are not translated, but the language is correctly detected and flagged to ensure search engines can understand them.

Small adjustments to the layout have been made to improve the initial loading of the application. Login-relevant links are now positioned in the top-left corner. A footer has been implemented to provide access to important yet secondary information. The navigation bars, both horizontal and vertical, have been revised.

Speed optimizations completed. The sharing function has been revised and now uses native operating system functions to simplify sharing. Since this includes a QR code, the sixlove QR code has become redundant.

We have moved the server statistics to 6love Server Statistics to make the main application load faster. If you want to check the overall statistics from time to time, feel free to visit our subdomain. Your advertisement statistics are not affected.

The pagination module has been revised and adjusted to the complexity of the search module.

A minor correction has just been patched. Hits (clicks on an ad) were not being counted for translated ads. The issue has been fixed.

The SSL certificate has been replaced. Report/Check via https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=6love.ch&latest results in an A rating. Sexy!

Tests completed, Payment and Yoti integrations were further optimized. For some users, we found that the Yoti verification failed because in the smartphone app the affected users had their first and last names in all caps, while we only had the first letter capitalized. We identified this situation and responded accordingly. Now it doesn't matter - Just first and last names, regardless of capitalization, must match and the date of birth must also match, and of course, the user must be over 18.

Videos that are not uploaded in MP4 format will now be automatically converted.

Today, we will update 6love for the last time and make minor corrections. After that, we will focus on 6love 2.0. This year, we will switch to Angular 16 with Server Side Rendering + Hydration and completely transition to Material Design. Currently, it is a mix of Material and Bootstrap. The current 6love application is our prototype, and now we know what has been well-received and what has not. We will implement all the feedback we have received. Our current speed performance is really good, but after the switch, it will be even better :=).

We have revised the gallery video uploading and moved the thumbnail creation to the backend. This will be particularly useful for users of newer iPhone models, as the previous logic did not work on these devices.

Facelift for Ads – Detail View. On mobile devices, especially Android devices, a width of 100% is now used. In the detail view, tabs for mobile users can now also be navigated using touch gestures. The layout on desktop devices has been revised, and the content has been slightly shifted to the left to keep the right side separate for buttons and the like. The app has been optimized up to a resolution of 1920x1080. We look forward to the latest update, which has just gone live.

The frontend VMs have been downsized as all services are now running on dedicated systems. Additionally, minor optimizations and bug fixes have been implemented in the app. An issue with the EasyFilter #Hashtag navigation on some clients has been successfully resolved.

Today, we relocated the databases to a new location (still within Switzerland). During the move, there were delays. Sorry.

We've experienced another performance boost! Currently, there's no comparable app that filters, navigates, and renders as quickly.

The long-awaited 'Stories' feature has finally been completed. Users can now post their stories directly via 'Settings > Stories'. However, this is subject to a condition. In effect, there is a flexible limit that adds up with the number of active ads. A Platinum ad allows for an additional 6 stories to be posted, a Gold ad 5, a Silver ad 3, and a Bronze ad 0. For a simple example: if you have two active Silver ads at the moment, you can post up to 6 stories.
