We have implemented a rich text editor for ads. You can now format the ad texts in HTML. However, we have built in limitations; the following tags do not work: a, script, img, and video. Copy-pasting of images is also intercepted. The normal way is to bind a gallery to the ad. And links are listed via the profile page. We will not tolerate anything else. Have fun with it. We will post a sample ad with the Rich Editor shortly.

Upon the request of many users, we have removed impressions from the logs. The individual impression-hit logs caused data clutter and had no added value, but over time, they impaired performance. The more visitors, the more entries. We still count the impressions, so don't worry. However, apparently, many users find it annoying to see so many log entries. DEAL, you wanted it that way, and we're doing it! This way, you'll have a better overview of the remaining logs in the future. During the day, a small patch will be released that removes the "Show Impressions" option under Settings > Logs, along with the new logging logic. The database is already prepared. Don't confuse impressions with hits. Hits will still be transparently displayed in the logs. The CRUD logic has been adjusted. Have fun!

From now on, new users and their profiles will be displayed in the notification center. This is especially useful for new profiles to get noticed. To keep it fair, we have also triggered existing users. The migration task took a little while, but it's now complete.

We have improved the page routings based on the advice of our partner company, which regularly checks and corrects them. The routes are now visible to search engines. Additionally, we have made pagination visible to users. After each section, the user has the option to switch to a specific page within the route context. We have kept the previous option with the arrow unchanged.

We are excited to introduce the storyboard to you. In the future, users will be able to create profile-bound stories. To give you a taste, we have created a few test stories. These will remain online for a while for advertising purposes. The endpoints can be found under Settings > Stories. The work is progressing very well. To create stories, you will need to be a little more patient, but it won't be much longer.

We are pleased to announce that we will be focusing intensively on the GUI. First patches should take place today. Desktop users will get cool new features in the coming weeks as there is now much more space available. We have redesigned the cards and made them visually more appealing, and the banners are now in the middle area of the screen. We will soon announce how we will use the space.

A patch has been implemented to perform facelifting, performance boost, and bug fixes in the new language-prefix routing. Existing images have been converted to the WebP format, and future uploads will be automatically converted.

We have made improvements to 6love.ch to become more attractive and increase our reach. Language Routing has been added to make all language variations available to search engines. Unfortunately, only the English pages have been indexed so far. We have adjusted the web server to maintain compatibility with the routing. These changes will make our website more attractive and accessible. All URLs now have a language prefix, for example /en/ https://6love.ch/en/maps.

Hotnews, we have completed the last migrations and tests. Our system is now also balanced in the frontend and can handle failures of at least 2 nodes. If necessary, we can add more nodes. We have successfully moved the backend to a load-balanced setup. The migration went smoothly. After that, we made preparations to also balance the frontend. Some work and migrations were done to scale as needed. Furthermore, minor errors and bugs were fixed. Overall, we are on a good track to have a successful official launch. The current performance is very satisfactory. If needed, in the future, we can also use Google's Content Delivery Network to provide media files even faster.

We updated the login component due to issues with some Android devices using Google Chrome and Autofill. Also, we delete impression logs older than 30 days from the general logs to save space. After cost-benefit analysis, we decided to remove impression hits from the general logs if they exceed a certain value. The impression data is still visible, only the journal is affected

Today, the terms and conditions will be updated. The new conditions are valid for 10 days from the date of publication.

There may be occasional errors throughout the day. We have made some adjustments to the listings. The address, gallery and telephone fields are no longer mandatory for advertisements. However, we always recommend filling out listings completely, as this will appeal to people better. The listing address cannot be changed until it expires. We don't want to see constantly changing locations on the map. :)
